(MENAFN) Stamford, Connecticut-based Silgan Holdings Inc. has finalized the buyout process of Rexam PLC's plastic thermoformed food business for USD248.1 million, AP reported.
The consumer product packaging company said unit will make bowls and trays for food products and operate under the name Silgan Plastic Food Containers.
Silgan added that the business will add nearly USD100 million in revenue this year.
However, Silgan does not expect this business to change in 2012 profits outlook.
