Saudi KHC plans USD146m hospital expansion


(MENAFN) Kingdom Holding Company (KHC), owned by Saudi billionaire Prince Alwaleed Bin Talal, unveiled plans to invest USD146.6 million to expand Kingdom Hospital in Riyadh, Arabian Business reported. The expansion plan includes an inpatient tower, an outpatient treatment pavilion, and a day surgery centre, according to the company's statement. The development will also comprise of 150 new private rooms, operating rooms and day surgical services areas and an expansion of the hospital's emergency department and trauma centre. KHC will start the expansion project over the next three years with a total development area of 85,000 sq m. Prince Alwaleed said the Kingdom Hospital expansion was in line with the company's strategic local investment strategy.
