Kuwait- Zain renews strategic partnership with Loyac


(MENAFN- Arab Times) CEO of Zain Mobile Telecommunications Omar Al-Omar said on Tuesday that the company is keen on supporting youth through training a large number of students annually as part of its sponsorship of the project (Loyac) for the ninth year. Al-Omar said during the renewal of Zain's agreement with Loyac, "This is one of the most important projects for the nation's youth who are be able to develop their talents by participating in various social programs." He added that the company has renewed the partnership with the company's project (Loyac) for training and consulting to develop statistical youth and national youth energies and talents to the benefit and development of the country's economy He stressed that Zain believes in the energies and skills for young people and what they can do to the nation in the future, in addition to their significant role in the growth and development of society. He said the company has adopted a number of students from several universities in Kuwait in addition to high school students "and invited them to invest their skills and energies within the scope of work through training, and boost their confidence to self-reliance as well as providing them with the skills and experience required to work and fill the available jobs in the labor market. Al-Omar said, "This project is part of our Corporate Social Responsibility programme which we deem essential for achieving continued success in the community. Loyac and such programmes are pivotal for strengthening the relationship between the company and the community in which it operates. Being one of the largest companies in the region, this programme also demonstrates our commitment to providing a successful model for other private companies." He emphasized on the company's eagerness in establishing a flexible model for programs about social obligations "as a basis for strengthening the bonds of communication and cooperation with individuals and groups within the society and strengthen these ties by launching a new set of programs that serve various activities and events."
