Yemen LNG pipeline operational again

(MENAFN) Yemen's LNG announced liquefied natural gas (LNG) export terminal was operational again since end of August, Reuters reported. The pipeline that feeds the terminal was repaired following an attack last month. Yemen's oil and gas pipelines have been repeatedly blown up since anti-government protests created, causing fuel shortages and slashing export earnings for the poorest country in the Arab world. The Yemen LNG terminal near Balhaf on the Gulf of Aden is run by French group Total and mainly supplies customers in East Asia.
