Kuwait- Copper cables worth KD 32,000 stolen from public project


(MENAFN- Arab Times) A Kuwaiti woman has filed a complaint at Sabah Al-Salem Police Station against her husband who allegedly stole several pieces of jewellry worth KD 16,000 from her, reports Al-Anba daily. Police will summon the husband for interrogation to verify his wife's claims. In an unrelated incident, a Canadian informed police that his apartment had been burgled and the thieves carted away jewellry and cash amounting to KD 17,000. Security officers rushed to the location immediately after receiving information on the incident. They lifted fingerprints to identity the culprits and investigations are ongoing to arrest the suspects. Cables worth KD 32,000 stolen: Police were looking for unknown persons for stealing copper cables worth KD 32,000 from a public project in Jahra recently, reports Al-Rai daily. The site engineer filed a complaint with the Jahra Police Station when the site workers discovered the theft of the cables. Meanwhile, a Kuwaiti man, whose identity has not been disclosed, has filed a complaint with the Mina Abdullah Police Station accusing unidentified thieves of breaking into his store in the area and stealing construction material worth KD 10,000, reports Al-Anba daily. The complaint refused to point a finger of accusation at anyone. Nonetheless, personnel from the Criminal Evidences Department have lifted fingerprints to identify the culprits. 200 cell phones stolen: Police are looking for an unidentified burglar for breaking into a cellphones shop in Salhiya and stealing 200 phones, reports Alam Alyawm daily. It has been reported a few days ago 500 cellphones had been stolen from an adjacent shop. Personnel from the Criminal Evidences Department have lifted the fingerprints to identify the culprit. Meanwhile, police are looking for an unidentified person for breaking into a car of a Kuwaiti citizen in Riqqa and stealing official documents, nationality certificates and shares certificates, reports a local Arabic daily. In another incident police are also looking for an unidentified person for breaking into three vehicles in Salmiya and stealing expensive goods including a laptop. Personnel from the Criminal Evidences Department have lifted fingerprints to identify the culprits.
