Saudi- GSFMO Offers Bid To Import 550,000 Tons of Wheat


(MENAFN- Saudi Press Agency) Grain Silos and Flour Mills Organization (GSFMO) offered today a bid to import 550,000 tons of wheat, representing the fourth tranche of wheat import for this year 1433/1434 AH, to be supplied during the period from December 2012 to February 2013. The Organization's Director General, Eng. Walid bin Abdulkarim Al-Khuraiji said in a press statement today that with this tranche, the Organization has contracted since the beginning this year to import 1.7 million tons of hard wheat, in addition to receiving so far an amount of 620,000 tons from local farmers.
