(MENAFN- Arab Times) Customs officers at the Al-Nuwaiseeb border post have arrested a GCC citizen for attempting to smuggle three guns into the country, reports Al-Qabas daily.
The smuggler appeared confused when he approached the inspection desk and police detained the man on suspicion.
Following a search of his car, inspectors found the contraband in a secret compartment of his car.
The guns and the man have been referred to the Criminal Investigation Department.
