Kuwait- Nov 11 set to hear KAC case

(MENAFN- Arab Times) The Court of First Instance presided by Judge Jamal Adbulsalam ruled that the case filed by Attorney Lawyer Hawrah Al-Habib against the Kuwait Airways Corporation does not fall within its jurisdiction. In the lawsuit the lawyer had requested the court to issue an order to ban Kuwait Airways flights from taking off citing safety of passengers due to continued faults witnessed by the Kuwait Airways aircraft. After the verdict was issued, Al-Habib said she considers the verdict in her favor because it serves as a guideline to what should be done because the case was not rejected outright. Lawyer Al-Habib said the verdict was not issued in defense of the KAC. She added, the case might need specialists and experts to evaluate the ability and capacity of the KAC with regard to rendering aviation services. The next hearing is set for Nov 11, 2012 in a special court.
