Kuwait- Citizen accuses stepson of stealing KD 5,000 from home


(MENAFN- Arab Times) A Kuwaiti citizen filed a case against his stepson, accusing him of breaking into his house in Capital Governorate and stealing more than KD 5,000 along with some private cheques and official documents. He informed securitymen that he was recently involved in an argument with his ex-wife and he suspected that she encouraged her son to break into his house. He explained that when he returned home, he was shocked to find the doors of his bedroom broken. He checked the room and discovered that the money was missing. Investigations are ongoing to retrieve the stolen items. An order was issued to summon the suspect to the police station for interrogations. Meanwhile, a Kuwaiti citizen filed a case at Qairawan police station against unknown individuals who broke into his house and stole electronic items worth more than KD 8,000. He informed securitymen that when he returned home, he was shocked to find his front door broken. He rushed into his apartment to find that all contents were thrown around. He checked the contents of the house to discover that some electronic items worth KD 8,000 were missing from the house. A case was registered for investigations. Officers from Criminal Evidence Department checked the house and lifted fingerprints to identify the suspects and retrieve the stolen items.
