(MENAFN Press) The Information & Communications Technology Association of Jordan - int@j in partnership with the Association of Banks in Jordan held the 2nd e-payment session on Monday, August 27th , 2012 at the Association of Banks in Jordan premises.
This session is part of a series aiming at creating potential business matchmakings with the Jordanian e-payment providers; link them with related stakeholders, and to better understand common challenges to support in tackling them to accelerate growth within this segment.
Representatives from The Central Bank of Jordan, E-payment providers from the Jordanian ICT sector, Payment Networks, Banks, & utilities attended the event.
This session focused on the role of banks and payment networks, and helped in identifying related issues facing them and understands their readiness to use e-payment solutions.
The session allowed an interactive participation to better enrich the discussion and allow group planning towards common priorities to support related segment.
The Information and Communications Technology Association of Jordan is an ICT and ICTES industry-support association founded in 2000 with the aim of improving the dynamics of Jordan's ICT & ICTES markets and developing the Kingdom's ICT & ICTES related activities, and includes more than 210 local and global companies working in IT, Telecom, and IT enabled services (Outsourcing).
Since its establishment, Int@j has been exerting a high effort level aiming at advancing the Jordanian ICT & ICTES sector.
Int@j has been looking for various partnerships with different institutions on the local, regional and international levels aiming at creating better ICT and ICTES industry in Jordan, increasing the awareness of ICT and ICTES services and products and stressing on the benefits of integrating ICT and ICTES in other sectors.
