(MENAFN- Arab Times) The Ministry of Interior is implementing new rigid procedures to find out which people might have obtained driving licenses fraudulently, reports Al-Qabas daily.
The daily added such licenses will be withdrawn even if they were issued many years ago and any official or employee found involved in helping such expatriates get the licenses will be referred to the prosecution.
According to reliable sources, the Assistant Undersecretary for Traffic Affairs at the General Traffic Department Major-General Dr Mustafa Al-Zuabi has issued a circular demanding the Supervision and Inspection department in all the six governorates to look for manipulations or violations while issuing driving licenses and vehicle registration cards.
