(MENAFN- Muscat Daily) Danny Shaji, a one year old girl who was seriously injured in a road accident in Thumrait on Monday (as published by Muscat Daily on August 21), succumbed to her head injuries at the Sultan Qaboos Hospital in Salalah on Friday afternoon.
Her mother Deepa Shaji, 27, had been killed on the spot. A three year old boy from another family was also killed in the accident, which was caused by a tyre burst. The vehicle flipped over seven times, a member of the family said.
The bodies of Deepa and Danny will be flown to India on Sunday.
