Bahrain's Gulf Air to restart service to Iran, Iraq


(MENAFN) Bahrain's flag carrier Gulf Air is set to restart services to Iran and Iraq from Sept. 20, Arab News reported. The airline said it will begin flying to Baghdad, Erbil, Najaf and Basra in Iraq and Tehran, Mashhad, Shiraz and Isfahan in Iran gradually between September 20 and October 28. Gulf Air will fly five times a week to Baghdad, increasing to daily in December, and four times a week to Najaf, and four times a week to Erbil, increasing to daily in October, and three times to Basra, increasing to four in December. As for Iran, the carrier will fly six time a week to Tehran, and four times a week to Mashhad from, and five times a week to Shiraz, all increasing to daily in December, and three flights a week to Isfahan.
