(MENAFN- Jordan Times) Finance Minister Suleiman Hafez and Planning and International Cooperation Minister Jafar Hassan on Sunday met with Sultan Mansouri, the finance minister of the United Arab Emirates (UAE).
During the meeting in Dubai, Hafez presented a briefing on Jordan's reform programme, noting the role of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) states in supporting the Kingdom's economy.
He spoke about the projects that Jordan and the GCC agreed to implement in the fields of energy, water and health. Hafez expressed a desire to hold the meetings of the Jordanian-UAE joint committee before the end of the year to enable Emirati companies and businesspeople to be acquainted with investment opportunities in Jordan.
