German IVG to sell The Squaire at Frankfurt airport

(MENAFN) German IVG Immobilien unveiled plans to sell a business and hotel complex at Frankfurt airport through a fund, Reuters reported, citing local media. Boersen-Zeitung sited CFO Hans Volkert Volckens as saying that the company is preparing to sell "The Squaire", located at Germany's largest airport. Volckens added that the company is looking into four possible options to divest the property including a direct sell-off, a structuring as classic closed general fund, a sale via a special fund and a structured solution. CEO Wolfgang Schaefers said in May that selling The Squaire would relieve IVG from around USD985.12 million of debt.
