Jordan- Royal committee renovating Southern Mazar mosque


(MENAFN- Jordan Times) The Royal committee tasked with renovating the tombs of Prophet Mohammad's companions has started furnishing the Jaafar Bin Abi Taleb Mosque in Southern Mazar with new carpets. The committee completed painting the mosque's walls and doors at a cost of JD23,000. In March this year, His Majesty King Abdullah directed the concerned authorities to rehabilitate and renovate the mosque. The Royal directives were issued after the Royal Court received several reports on the mosque's poor condition.
