(MENAFN- Jordan Times) The police on Saturday arrested a suspect for stealing JD300,000 worth of jewellery from a house in Shmeisani.
According to the Public Security Department (PSD), a man filed a complaint saying jewellery had been stolen from his house during his two-hour absence.
He added that the house guard, an Arab national, claimed that he was beaten and lost consciousness before the theft.
After interrogations, the guard confessed to stealing the jewellery and burying it in the backyard.
