(MENAFN- Khaleej Times) Malabar Gold and Diamonds, a premier jewellery retailer in the GCC, is hosting iftar for the deprived across the GCC as a part of their CSR. Several iftar camps were hosted and many more are planned throughout the holy month of Ramadan in the Gulf countries.
In the UAE iftar was hosted for labourers in MGM camp, Sonapur on August 3. The event participated in by about 1,000 attendees was aimed at improving the feeling of togetherness in the holy month.
Similar iftars are being hosted in Kuwait, Bahrain, Oman, Qatar and KSA. The charity initiatives taken up by this group is remarkable. As a part of social commitment, the company undertakes several social welfare activities to help the poor and downtrodden section in the society.
