(MENAFN - Khaleej Times) Bawabat Al Sharq Mall (BAS Mall) has announced its 'Arabian Nights' Ramadan promotion to celebrate the first Ramadan activities at the mall. The initiatives which started on the July 26 focus on featuring various in-mall activities with the aim of enriching the shopping experience and providing shoppers and mall visitors with chances for winning instantaneous gifts.
By attending some of the activities, people can win shopping vouchers which can be instantly redeemed at any of the various outlets in BAS Mall.
Catering to the different tastes and age groups of its visitors, in-mall activities are held across three different entertainment zones all of which spring from the main theme of the rich Arabian Nights.
The Hakawati, traditional story telling zone will free the imaginations with his stories of ancient Arabia while the Henna and Caricature zone will provide the visitors with famous henna drawings and caricature drawings of themselves. Finally, the kids' entertainment zone will enrich the children's creativity through indulging activities such as arts & crafts and painting.
Wael El Ashry commercial vice-president, Baniyas Investment and Development Company said: "We are extremely happy to be celebrating the first Ramadan at Bawabat Al Sharq Mall. Asserting the spirit of giving throughout the holy month, we have designed a special calendar of events that would enable our visitors to win various prizes just for visiting our mall. Aside from that, shoppers will be entitled with chances to win an amazing Toyota Land Cruiser in the grand raffle draw which will be held on the August 22 to celebrate the first Eid at BAS Mall."
Activities are equally sited across the mall where the main stage and the Hakawati activities are held in the South Atrium located on the right side of the main entrance; the Henna and Caricature are located in the North Atrium to the left of the main entrance. On the other hand, kids' entertainment activities will be held across from the food court area on the first level of BAS Mall. Subhi Benkhadra, CEO Baniyas Investment and Development Company said: "The 'Arabian Nights' promotional activities are part of our endeavors to support our tenants and provide our visitors with the best shopping experience. This theme also endorses the spirit of the holy month which further reinforces the traditional Arabic values and beliefs."
