Telecom Egypt's Q2 net income down 25%

(MENAFN) Telecom Egypt stated that net income fell 25 percent in the second quarter to USD100.87 million, reported Reuters. The landline monopoly attributed the decline to weaker revenue and employee demands for higher pay. It said that revenue during the period dropped 7.9 percent from a year ago. It is worth noting that in 2011's second quarter, Telecom Egypt posted USD133.3 million net income.
