Oman- In love with comedy

(MENAFN- Muscat Daily) After getting in touch with his fun side with Kya Super Kool Hain Hum, Tusshar Kapoor seems to be a changed man with an excess of coolness. He seems to be in love with comedies, and they love him too, considering how good an actor he has turned out to be with every performance.

What makes Kya Super Kool Hain Hum so cool?

During the release of the first part, there were mixed reactions â€" some loved it and some weren't in favour of the comedy. But over the years, society has changed, and people have become open to new things. So what makes this movie cool is that it's fresher, bigger and naughtier, and it has a more accepting audience.

What do you think clicks in your equation with Riteish Deshmukh?

We get along very well on a personal level whenever we work together. We may not be in touch all the time nor belong to the same friend circle, but when we work together, we just gel. I guess we get along because the kind of humour we share is similar. We don't get into each other's space and also the upbringing we have had helps us build a camaraderie that shows on screen.

What should we expect from you in this film?

You can expect a better performance than the first film. When I did Kya Kool Hain Hum, it was my first attempt at comedy. But now I am mature, so you will see a better body and performance. And as always, I give my roles everything I have, so I hope people recognise and appreciate that.

What was the funniest moment of shooting for this film?

We were quite serious about our jobs and were working very hard. In fact, the shoot was spread out so there wasn't much time to socialise with the unit. Nonetheless, I would say the Goa schedule was a lot of fun. It was very chilled out. And while shooting, we cracked jokes and had fun pulling the girls' legs. It was a wonderful set. We had a young unit working on this film which was conducive in getting the right energy.

What was Neha Sharma like to work with?

I can go on and on about Neha. She is very sweet, proper, pretty and professional. She's young and fresh since she's not that well versed with the industry. She has that young energy and gets irritated at times since she is not used to the way we work. It's her childlike quality that I really like. She's a very positive person, and she was the first one to praise me while doing the Dostana shot because she was also on set. She encouraged me a lot and I enjoyed working with her. We look great together on screen.

What was Sarah Jane Dias like as an actress?

Though she may seem like a party animal, she is hard working and thinks a lot about her work, the dialogues she has to deliver and the importance of every word. She is very sincere and when she's having fun, she goes all out. I think she is a party girl who is very focused.

What, according to you, is the USP of this film?

The USP is that it's hilarious to the core and unapologetically naughty. You can say entertainment, entertainment and entertainment.

You have said this film is a family entertainer â€" parents can watch it with their children. How different is it from the original which wasn't a family entertainer?

There is adult humour, and it's up to people to decide what they want. Families and youngsters can definitely go and watch the film. As for the format, the humour is similar, but there is a road trip in this one since the boys are in search of something.  It's a cooler film.
