Brief scores: Al Faisal 67-2 in eight overs beat Rangers 57-8 in eight overs.

Stars Light 78-4 in eight overs beat Kashmir XI 37-3 in eight overs.

Indian Challengers beat Ruwi Kings by six wickets while OEC defeated Sarooj Construction by 60 runs in the Al Turki-NMC tape ball cricket tournament, organised by Oman Indo-Pak Friends at Azaiba.

Asad shines for Al Tajamul Trading

Asad helped Al Tajamul Trading defeat Poly Stars XI in the second round match of the Omantel Ramadan floodlit cricket tournament at the Pakistan School Muscat ground on Wednesday.

In the day's other second round match, Nizwa CC defeated Al Minhaj Trading.

MBT cricket league from August 6

The first Muscat Beach Trading (MBT) Ramadan MRI ball cricket meet will begin on August 6 at the Azaiba beach ground. The 12-team tournament will be played in a league format under floodlights with each group comprising three teams.
