(MENAFN - Muscat Daily) Le Guen names 22 players for Egypt friendly

Oman's head football coach, Paul Le Guen, has called up 22 players for a camp to be held in Muscat from August 9.

Oman will host Egypt in a friendly in Salalah on August 15 ahead of its final round match against Jordan at the 2014 World Cup Asian qualifiers on October 16.

Oman squad: Faiz al Rusheidi (keeper), Hani Najmuddin (keeper), Abdulrehman Salah, Abdulsalam Juma, Mohammed Sheeba, Saad Suhail, Mohammed al Mussallami, Hussain Mudhaffar, Bassim al Rajaibi, Jaber al Owaisi, Raeed Ibrahim, Fauzi Basheer, Ahmed Mubarak 'Kanu', Ahmed Hadeed, Imad al Hosni, Ismail al Ajmi, Hussain al Hadhri, Ali al Jabri, Abdullah al Hadi, Waleed al Saadi, Abdulaziz al Miqbali and Eid al Farsi.

Stars Light secures huge victory

Stars Light defeated Century CC by ten wickets on Friday in the fourth Al Turki-NMC Cup cricket tournament that is being organised by Oman Indo-Pak Friends in Azaiba.

Kacchhi Wing beats Wonderful Trade

The Indian Social Club's (ISC) Kacchhi Wing registered a comfortable nine-wicket win against Wonderful Trade on Friday in the inaugural Al Turki-NMC tape ball cricket tournament that is being organised by Oman Indo-Pak Friends in Azaiba.
