(MENAFN) UK's Heritage Oil Plc announced that during the first 6 months of the year, its net average daily oil output climbed 35 percent, reaching 567 barrels a day, reported Reuters. The explorer said that adjusted loss during the period dropped from USD6.9 million in 2011's first half to USD6.7 million. The company added that the figure excludes a USD18 million in costs linked to a proposed purchase of oilfield assets in Nigeria. It is worth noting that Heritage Oil plans to pay USD850 million to acquire 45 percent interest in a number of oilfield assets, known as OML 30, with the deal expected to be sealed in 2012's second half.
