(MENAFN - Kuwait News Agency (KUNA)) Kuwait Projects Company (KIPCO) earned KD 17.1 million in the past six months at a rate of 13.1 fils per share, announced Masoud Hayat, the company's Chief Executive Officer for Banking, on Sunday.
Latest profits rose by three percent compared to KD 16.6 million (13.3 fils per share), posted in the same period of the past year.
In a press release, Hayat indicated that the company profits posted growth in the end of last year and the fist quarter of the current year, despite hard economic condtions.
Total returns grew, in the first half of 2012, by 20.2 percent reaching KD 214.9 million compared with KD 178.8 million in the first of the past year.
Operational profits rose, in the first half of the year, 31.7 percent reaching KD 45.3 million, compared with KD 34.4 million of the same period of last year.
Overall assets, in the first half of the year, rose to KD 6.2 billion, in contrast to KD 5.9 billion in the end of last year.
