(MENAFN Press) Wyndham Rewards, the world's largest lodging loyalty programme with almost 7,000 participating hotels, today announced its expansion into countries throughout the Middle East and Asia Pacific, providing its members with broader access to the Wyndham Hotel Group portfolio of brands.
The expansion of the programme is part of Wyndham Rewards' strategy to provide its members with earning and redemption options in all 66 countries where Wyndham Hotel Group properties are located. The programme is currently available in 50 countries.
Wyndham Rewards most recently launched the programme in the Philippines, India and Sri Lanka at 30 properties associated with the Wyndham(R) Hotels and Resorts, Dream(R), Ramada(R), Microtel Inn & Suites(R) by Wyndham and Days Inn(R) brands. The programme was already available in China and Thailand.
In the Middle East, home to some of Wyndham Hotel Group's most luxurious hotels, Wyndham Rewards is now available in Saudi Arabia, Qatar, UAE, Bahrain, Jordan, Kuwait, Lebanon and Oman.
In addition to an expanded portfolio of participating hotels, Wyndham Rewards has developed new and convenient ways for members to earn and redeem points.
Not only has the programme added new airline partnerships with Saudi Arabian Airlines(c), Turkish Airlines(c), and Jet Airways(c) in India, but it launched a new global rewards catalogue, allowing members in all countries where the programme is available to redeem points for items that are locally relevant.
"With the growth of our programme in the Middle East and Asia Pacific, we are providing members with more ways to earn points and more ways to get rewarded for staying with Wyndham Hotel Group properties," said Robin Korman, senior vice president of Loyalty Marketing and Strategic Partnerships.
"We will continue to build partnerships that offer our members more redemption options with vendors they know and trust."
The programme is set to roll out in Australia, New Zealand and throughout Latin America by the end of the year.
