(MENAFN- Arab Times) CID men affiliated to the Jabriya Police Station have arrested an unidentified young GCC woman who had allegedly eloped with a young Kuwaiti man and was planning to escape to Iran, reports Al-Qabas daily.
According to security sources the couple was arrested in the chalet area.
The arrest came after the woman's father filed a missing persons report at the Jabriya Police Station.
The complainant told the Jabriya police that he had information that the couple was planning to go to Iran via the sea.
The couple has been referred to the competent authority.
