UAE- Baniyas and Azadea sign retail agreement


(MENAFN- Khaleej Times) Baniyas Investment and Development Company, or BIDC - the investment arm of the Bani Yas Sports Club - has signed an agreement with the Azadea Group, one of the region's leading retail groups, to open eight new outlets at the Bawabat Al Sharq Mall. Covering over 1,604 square metres of retail space, the Azadea Group will unveil a wide array of the world's most recognised fashion brands, as well as food and beverage outlets at Bawabat Al Sharq Mall. Among the brands included are Oysho, Intimissimi, Piazza Italia, Gymboree, Mango and Sunglass Hut. Azadea will also be opening the first outlets in the UAE for Jules, a French fashion brand, and will also unveil Paul's first bakery branch in Abu Dhabi. "We are delighted to know that our endeavours are continuously successful and are happy to sign with Azadea Group which only adds to the wealth of our tenant mix and embraces some its brands' first outlets in the UAE," Baniyas Investment and Development Company chief executive officer Subhi Benkhadra said. "This partnership with Baniyas embraced our brands' expansion plans through great retail space, allowing for the inauguration of eight new outlets. Overall, we are certain that this agreement will only bring forth great outcomes and strengthen our positioning in the UAE, especially in Abu Dhabi," Azadea Group chief executive officer Said Daher said.
