First developed in 2005, ISO 20000 is the first international standard for IT service management. It brings qualifying companies many benefits and advantages, including providing a benchmark for best practice, engendering a fundamental shift to pro-active processes and creating competitive advantage. It also encourages the alignment of IT services and business strategy.
DHL Express UAE country manager Frank-Uwe Ungerer was presented with the certificate by Brian Baxter, UAE Service Delivery manager at Lloyds, who are responsible for conducting the rigorous auditing process required to achieve ISO 20000 status.
