(MENAFN- Kuwait News Agency (KUNA)) Oman's output of crude and oil condensers, in June 2012, rose 4.1 percent reaching approximately 27.7 million barrels compared with 28.8 million barrels in May, according to the monthly report of Oman Ministry of Oil and Gas.
Daily production of the crude oil and the condensers reached, in June of the current year, 923,339 barrels in contrast with 931,955 barrels in May, with a drop of 0.92 percent.
Volume of exported crude, in June, reached approximately 23.3 million barrels, at a daily rate of some 777,483 barrels. These exports, in May 2012, reached 22.65 million barrels at a daily rate of 711,779 barrels.
Asian markets had the lion's share of the Omani exports of oil, with China on top, 48 percent in June 2012, followed by Japan, 21 percent, as compared to the overall exports of the Gulf country crude exports.
As to status of the oil markets in June 2012, the month witnessed noticeable fall of the oil prices compared with the levels posted in May this year, where the average price of the American crude price at New York-Chicago bourse reached USD 82.58 per barrel, in June, dropping by USD 12.37 pb compared to the May price.
Price of the North Sea Brent reached USD 95.77 pb, in June, falling USD 14.
79 pb compared to the price in May.
