Dubai Trade collects USD272m via Rosoom


(MENAFN) Dubai Trade's CEO, Eng Mahmood Al Bastaki, stated that the trade facilitator has collected USD272 million through transactions carried out by Rosoom, the electronic payment gateway of Dubai Trade, reported Khaleej Times. Al Bastaki said that the gateway, which was launched 4 years ago, has registered over 1 million transactions by the trading community since then. The Rosoom service provides several online payment options, covering credit, debit and prepaid cards including Dirham, to ease payments in a safe and secure environment. Moreover, it was integrated with the online payment systems of a number of major banks locally and internationally, facilitating and making it more secure for trading clients of these banks to use the electronic payment gateway. It is worth noting that Dubai Trade, which is the leading cross-border trade facilitator under Dubai World, will soon launch the Rosoom Wallet, which will offer managers a high degree of flexibility and security in the management and control of payments.
