(MENAFN- Arab Times) A Kuwaiti citizen was recently arrested for possession of drugs and an unlicensed weapon.
Reportedly, when the Operations Department at Directorate General for Drug Control (DGDC) received information about the Kuwaiti citizen involved in drug trafficking, they conducted necessary investigations and obtained a warrant from the Public Prosecution to arrest him.
Officers from DGDC checked his house to find three large hashish bars, two nylon packs of 'Ice' drug, 1,000 narcotic pills and cigarettes containing cannabis. They also found an unlicensed weapon and large number of ammunitions in a hidden location in his room.
They arrested the suspect and during interrogations, he admitted that he is addicted to drugs and is also involved in drug trafficking. He revealed that he keeps the weapon for protection.
He was referred to the Public Prosecution with the illicit items for necessary legal action against him.
