Saudi Nasair selects Hamilton Sundstrand's APS3200s for its fleet


(MENAFN) Saudi low-cost airline Nasair has awarded a supply contract to US-based aerospace technology firm Hamilton Sundstrand Corporation to provide power units for its fleet, Arabian Business reported. The company will supply its APS3200 Auxiliary Power Unit (APU) for on Nasair's future purchased and leased Airbus A320 series aircraft and to retrofit Nasair's nine current A320 aircraft fleet. Hamilton Sundstrand also won a 10-year fixed price contract to provide maintenance services its APUs in Nasair's fleet, the company said in a statement. Hamilton Sundstrand has delivered more than 1,800 APS3200 APUs to more than 155 operators for their fleet of Airbus A320 aircraft. The company currently about 40 percent market share of the worldwide A320 family in service.
