(MENAFN - Khaleej Times) The Dubai Police have arrested two Iranians and are on a hunt for a third minor suspect for allegedly kidnapping and raping a 29-year-old British woman in the early hours of last Friday.

The woman, who lives in Al Rowda area, told the police that she went with her friend to Dubai Yacht Club on Thursday night. At 11pm, they parted. She then went to a bar in a hotel in JBR area around 1am and had some wine. She did not remember what happened later.

When she woke up in the morning, she found herself in an unfamiliar flat. She saw eight men around her and one of them was raping her while another clicked photographs. She then left the flat on her own and went to the house of her friend who was with her at the Yacht Club the night before.

She claimed that somebody had put drugs in the wine at the bar and kidnapped her to the flat. She said that the three of the suspects also stole Dh100 from her.

The police raided the flat in Naif area and arrested Y.J. and O.M., both aged 20. The police are on the lookout for the 16-year-old third suspect.

During interrogation, Y.J. said while the three were travelling in their car driven by O.M. in JBR area on Thursday night, they saw the British woman arguing with a taxi driver in a drunken state. They intervened and gave the cabbie Dh100 to settle the dispute. Then the woman came to their car and sat inside. They went to Y.J.'s flat in Naif.

Once inside the flat, she lay on a bed and Y.J. had consensual sex with her at first. O.M. and the third suspect also had sex with her later. When she got up in the morning, they offered to drop her at her flat but she refused and took a taxi on her own and left.

The complainant failed to identify the suspects but the taxi driver who had an argument with her the night before identified Y.J. and O.M. as the persons who had paid him Dh100.

The woman's male friend told the police that the victim came to him around 7am on Friday in a bad condition and crying. She told him that the suspects had put something in her drink, took her to their flat and raped her. He told the police that he drove to her flat where she lived with other women because she was not in a position to drive her car.

The two arrested suspects have been referred to the Public Prosecution.
