Jordan- Lebanese singers entertain Jerash audiences over weekend


(MENAFN- Jordan Times) The 27th Jerash Festival of Culture and Arts continues on Sunday, with performances by Al Ahli Club's Circassian Folkloric Group and the Amman Symphony Orchestra at the South and North theatres. Lebanese singers Wael Jassar and Melhem Zein performed at the South Theatre over the weekend during the festival. The festival, which runs through July 14, features music and dance performances by prominent artists from Jordan, the Arab region and beyond. As part of the festival, Ramadan Nights will be held at the Royal Cultural Centre from July 23 until July 29. A total of 115 performers, bands and troupes will take part in the festival and Ramadan Nights. The festival will also include poetry recitals, seminars, art exhibitions, performances and workshops in Jerash and at the Royal Cultural Centre in the capital.
