Kuwait- Cables stolen from transformers


(MENAFN- Arab Times) Unknown thieves recently stole three cables from a transformer in Oyoun. Reportedly, when an officer from Ministry of Electricity and Water arrived at the location for inspection, he discovered that the outside door was broken. He checked the transformer to find that three cables were missing. He immediately informed securitymen, who rushed to the location. They lifted fingerprints and collected other evidences. A case was registered and investigations are ongoing to arrest the suspects. Meanwhile, when an expatriate witnessed three individuals breaking into a store in Nugra, he immediately notified securitymen. However, the suspects managed to escape when securitymen arrived at the location. Securitymen found traces of the crime at the location when they checked the site. The evidences were collected and investigations are ongoing to arrest the suspects. In another incident, fire erupted at a pile of garbage inside an empty building in Salmiya area. Based on this report, a team of firefighters was deployed to the scene, and the fire was quenched without difficulty.
