Google to close five services

(MENAFN) US search giant Google stated that it will close five of its services as they are not vital to the company's business, including iGoogle and Google Video, reported Xinhua News. The company said that it will shut iGoogle next year on the first day of November, adding that web and mobile apps reduced demand for the service. Moreover, Google Video will be axed on August 20, and users will have to migrate, delete or downloaded their content before that date, with the company moving the remaining hosted content to YouTube this summer. The company is focusing on creating beautiful technology that will enhance people's lives, and that will be used by a wide range of people, not only by a limited number of users. It is worth noting that the other products include Google Mini, Google Talk Chatback and Symbian Search App.
