BMW, Toyota ink partnership agreement


(MENAFN) BMW AG and Toyota Motor Corp. stated that they inked a deal to develop a sports car, hydrogen fuel cells, and electric car technology, reported Saudi Press Agency. Under the agreement that was announced at the German firm's Munich headquarters, the two carmakers will collaborate to develop a hydrogen fuel cell system and make components for a sports car. Moreover, both companies will jointly carry out research to develop technology that will make vehicles lighter. It is worth noting that the two companies will also work together to develop electric propulsion systems.
