Etihad freighter unit boosts service to Dammam


(MENAFN) Etihad Cargo, the freighter unit of Etihad Airways, launched a new weekly freighter operation from Abu Dhabi to Dammam in Saudi Arabia, Arabian Business reported. Etihad Airways already operates 16 weekly Airbus A319 and A320 passenger services between the two cities. The company said that the cargo service will be operated by an Airbus A300-600F freighter, which has a capacity of 42 metric tons. The cargo division reaches 85 destinations globally with a fleet of six freighters, consisting of one Airbus A300-600F, two Airbus A330-200F, one MD-11F, one Boeing B777F and one Boeing B747-400F.
