(MENAFN- Arab Times) The Farwaniya police recently raided three locations and arrested a number of Asians for stealing telephone lines and offering illegal overseas call services, reports Al-Kuwaitiah daily.
Police have reportedly confiscated many computers and communication devices from the illegal services providers and referred them to the authorities.
The same police raided an apartment and took into custody a 60-year-old Asian woman for violating residence.
It has been reported she was staying in the country illegally since 2009 and running the apartment for sheltering run-away housemaids and others whose residence permits have expired.
Police have also arrested several women from her apartment reported absconding by their respective sponsors.
