The price index lost 67.59 points to 5,833.98 points. The weighted index also lost 0.83 points to 397.19 points.
Trades came to 3,259 transactions, worth KD 19,065,307.859 and volume reached 161,259,497 shares.
Top share for the day was that of Credit rating and collection K.S.C.C. The biggest loser was Al-Sawfa Group Company and top volume share was that of Gulf Finance House.
The 14 sector indices were mostly red upon closing.
