Kuwaiti industrialist lauds outcome of AIDMO general assembly meeting

(MENAFN- Kuwait News Agency (KUNA)) Deputy Director General of Kuwait Industrial Development Agency Sager Farhan Al-Enezi on Wednesday welcomed the decisions adopted by the Arab Industrial Development and Mining Organization (AIDMO) during its 22nd general assembly session. Speaking to KUNA at the conclusion of the two-day session here this evening, Al-Enezi highlighted the significance of Kuwait being represented at the AIDMO Executive Board and the Administrative and Financial Control Body. "During the preparatory meetings of the delegates to the session, held on the expert level on Monday and Tuesday, the Kuwaiti delegation lobbied for the Kuwaiti bid the post deputy director general of the pan-Arab organization which was approved today," he said. Al-Enezi, who led the delegation on behalf of Minister of Commerce and Industry Anas Al-Saleh, attributed the success of the bid to Minister Al-Saleh's support and close ties with the concerned Arab ministers. He expressed hope that the naming of Adel Saqr Al-Saqr, of Kuwait, as deputy director general of the organization, would boost the efforts to achieve economic integration among the Arab countries.
