Dubai's ENOC eyes 140,000 bpd capacity for Jebel Ali refinery

(MENAFN) Dubai government-owned Emirates National Oil Company (ENOC) eyes to boost output at its Jebel Ali refinery by 20,000 barrels per day (bpd) to a total of 140,000 bpd, Reuters reported. The fuel retailer is among the biggest oil storage owners at Jebel Ali, with its 1.2 million cubic meters of storage capacity. ENOC also plans to construct a second jet fuel pipeline to Dubai International Airport from Jebel Ali terminal, the company unveiled. Its wholly-owned unit, Horizon Terminals, inked a USD100 million sharia-compliant loan to partly fund the construction of a terminal to supply jet fuel to the airport. The pipeline will reach the airport from a bulk liquid petroleum terminal at the Jebel Ali Free Zone industrial park. The storage tanks for the terminal have a capacity of 141,000 cubic meters.
