Five Killed, 25 Injured In Northern Iraq Attacks


(MENAFN- Saudi Press Agency) Five people were killed and 25 injured Sunday in three attacks in northern Iraq, police said. A bomb that went off near an army patrol in the city of Mosul, located some 400 kilometres north of Baghdad, killed four soldiers and injured two others. Gunmen shot and killed a man in the east of the city. A car bomb near a gas station in the city of Tikrit, some 170 kilometres north of Baghdad, injured 22 people, police was quoted as saying by DPA.
