Deutsche Telekom sets up USD52m Chinese development center


(MENAFN) Deutsche Telekom stated that it has set up a USD52 million global development center in China's Hubei Province, its first in the country, reported Xinhua News. Europe's largest telecommunications firm added that the center is founded to develop core technology, such as vehicle telematics, cloud computing and air traffic tech. The firm, which has 250,000 employees worldwide, said that in 2014, the center will recruit 1,000 workers. It is worth noting that Deutsche Telekom, the world's fourth largest telecom operator, has also launched development centers in Brazil and Mexico.
