Hyundai Heavy receives 3 oil and gas rigs orders

(MENAFN) Hyundai Heavy Industries announced that it has been awarded 3 contracts to build oil and gas rigs, reported Reuters. The world's biggest shipbuilder said that a USD400 million order was received to build a 35,000-ton offshore oil platform to be delivered by August 2015. Moreover, the company won a USD100 million order to build a semi-submersible drilling rig for US LLOG, whereas the third order, also worth USD100 million, is for 6 land plant modules capable of producing 200 million cubic feet of natural gas and 10,000 barrels per day (bpd) of oil, to be delivered June 2015. It is worth noting that Hyundai didn't reveal the name of the company with the USD400 million order, nor of that who ordered the USD100 million 6 land plant modules.
