(MENAFN- Saudi Press Agency) The Committee for Agricultural Cooperation of Ministers of Agriculture of Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) States, held here today its 23rd meeting under the chairmanship of the Minister of Agriculture, Dr Fahd bin Abdulrahman Balghunaim.
Addressing the meeting, Dr. Balghunaim pointed out that the meeting comes within the framework of ongoing efforts to intensify works to achieve sustainable development of the agricultural sector in the GCC States for the benefit of their peoples and to achieve the aspirations of GCC leaders in advanced agricultural, sustainable and comprehensive development within their integrated vision of agriculture in the GCC States.
Dr. Balghunaim said that the meeting will discuss a number of important issues for the development of the agricultural sector including plant, animal and fisheries fields.
