(MENAFN- Kuwait News Agency (KUNA)) Proceeds of transactions by Oman Liquefied Natural Gas Company grew 26.4 percent in 2011, according to a report released by the company on Saturday.
These returns amounted to USD 3.963 billion, in the past year, compared to USD 3.131 billion in the year before.
Oman exports part of its production of gas, uses the remaining amounts for local consumption and operating plants.
The company was founded by a decree issued by the Sultan in 1994.
It currently operates two plants, with an output capacity of 7.1 million metric tons per year.
