Yahoo, CNBC ink content partnership deal

(MENAFN) Yahoo Inc and CNBC announced that they have inked a content sharing partnership deal, reported Reuters. Under the terms of the agreement, the two firms will co-make original videos that will appear on Yahoo, CNBC.com and mobile devices, and will be promoted on the cable channel. Moreover, Yahoo Finance pages will feature stories and videos provided by CNBC. Yahoo, which has an agreement with Walt Disney's Co ABC News to use its content and jointly produce journalism projects, plans to become one of the main destinations for news and entertainment. The deal will also increase the number of the two companies' internet audiences, which exceeds 40 million people, and persuade advertisers to pay premium prices. It is worth noting that CNBC is the main business news cable channel, whereas Yahoo Finance is one of the internet's most visited business sites.
