Jordan- 'UFO' may have been Russian missile test

(MENAFN- Jordan Times) An unidentified flying object seen in the sky over Jordan on Thursday night may have been a Russian ballistic missile test, according to Russian media. In a statement on Twitter on Friday, Russian state-owned news agency Ria Novosti said a UFO spotted in Jordan, Israel and other countries in the region could have been a Russian ICBM test. The independent Russian news agency Interfax reported that an RS-12M Topol ICBM had been launched in Russia's southern Astrakhan region, aimed at a simulated target in Kazakhstan. Beat FM radio host Rob Stevens was among the first to report a sighting of the object just before 8:00pm Thursday, writing on Twitter that he had seen a UFO over Fuheis that "hovered, and then made a swirl and disappeared".
